A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF NEWPORT BEACH AWARDING A CONTRACT
(NO. 2267) TO WILLIAM R. HAHN IN CONNECTION
WITH MODIFICATION OF TRAFFIC SIGNALS AND
SAFETY LIGHTING AT VARIOUS LOCATIONS
WHEREAS, pursuant to the notice inviting bids for work
in connection with modification of traffic signals and safety
lighting at various locations and the plans and specifications
heretofore adopted, bids were received on the 11th day of June,
1981 at 2:00 p.m., and publicly opened and declared; and
WHEREAS, it appears that the lowest responsible bidder
therefor is WILLIAM R. HAHN.
NOW, THERFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Newport Beach that the bid of WILLIAM R. HAHN in the
amount of $49,820.00 be accepted, and that the contract for the
described work (Contract No. 2267) be awarded to said bidder; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Clerk
are hereby authorized and directed to execute a contract in
accordance with the specifications, bid and this award on behalf
of the City of Newport Beach, and that the City Clerk be directed
to furnish an executed copy to the successful bidder.
ADOPTED this 22nd day of June , 1981.
