A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF NEWPORT BEACH ESTABLISHING THE SALARIES OF
MANAGEMENT AND OTHER KEY EMPLOYEES FOR THE
1981 -82 FISCAL YEAR, AND AMENDING THE
COMPENSATION PLAN AND TABLE OF AUTHORIZATION
TO REFLECT SAID CHANGES
WHEREAS, the City Council has the authority under the
Newport Beach City Charter to establish the salaries of the City
Manager, City Attorney and City Clerk; and
WHEREAS, the City Manager has recommended certain
salary adjustments for management and other key employees;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of
the City'of Newport Beach hereby establishes that effective July 1,
1981, the salaries of management and other key personnel shall be
as shown on Exhibit "A ";
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that in addition to the salary
schedule marked Exhibit "A ", the City shall pay to the Public
Employees Retirement System one -half of the employees'
contribution to said system;
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Compensation Plan and
Table of Authorization be amended to reflect said changes.
ADOPTED this 22nd day of June 1981.
