A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF NEWPORT BEACH AMENDING THE COMPENSATION
PLAN AND TABLE OF AUTHORIZATION TO DELETE THE
POSITION OF ASSISTANT CITY ENGINEER AND
ESTABLISH THE SEPARATE POSITION OF CITY
ENGINEER
WHEREAS, on June 22, 1981, the City Council introduced
Ordinance No. 1884, designating the Public Works Director as the
City Engineer pro tem and accepting the position of City Engineer
as a separate position; and
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to reclassify the
Assistant City Engineer position to City Engineer,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Newport Beach hereby approves the
Assistant City Engineer as City Engineer, and
Plan and Table of Authorization of permanent
amended thereby. The compensation to be paid
Engineer is set forth in Resolution No. 10076
