HomeMy WebLinkAbout11058 - Irvine Coast Study CommitteeRESOLUTION NO. 11058 RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF • NEWPORT BEACH CREATING THE AD HOC COUNCIL IRVINE COAST STUDY COMMITTEE WHEREAS, on September 14, 1981 the City Council reaffirmed the sphere of influence for the Irvine Coast area; and WHEREAS, the City Council desires to conduct additional studies regarding the desirability of maintaining the Irvine Coast area within the sphere of influence of the City of Newport Beach; and WHEREAS, the City Council further desires to study the public utility infrastructure requirements for the Irvine Coast area, to determine the appropriate provider of municipal and public utility services for the Irvine Coast area; and WHEREAS, the purpose of this Resolution is to establish the Ad Hoc City Council Irvine! Coast Study Committee, to investigate the sphere of influence and public utility and public facility infrastructure requirements and report back to the City Council on or before the first meeting in December, 1981; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Newport Beach that the duties and responsibilities of the Ad Hoc City Council Irvine Coast Study Committee shall be as follows: 1. The Committee shall consist of two members, appointed by the Mayor. 2. The Committee shall report back to the City Council on or before December 14, 1981, regarding the above • issues relating to the sphere of influence of the City of Newport Beach in the Irvine Coast area. 3.
