RESOLUTION NO. 82 -104
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF NEWPORT BEACH DECLARING THE RESULTS OF
THE SPECIAL ELECTION HELD IN SAID CITY ON
JUNE 8, 1982
The City Council of the City of Newport Beach DOES
RESOLVE as follows:
SECTION 1. That the City Council does hereby find,
determine and declare as follows:
a. That pursuant to applicable law, a special election
was held and conducted in said City on the 8th day of June, 1982;
and
b. That said election was held and conducted in
conformity with all applicable provisions of law; and
C. That said special election was held for the purpose
of submitting to the voters of said City the following measure,
to wit:
CITY OF NEWPORT BEACH
MEASURE "B"
OCCUPANCY TAX
YES 12,625
NO 7,566
TOTAL VOTES CAST: 22,478
d. That pursuant to direction of the City Council the
Registrar of Voters has heretofore
results thereof and has filed with
