A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF NEWPORT BEACH EXTENDING THE TERMS OF
VARIOUS BOARDS, COMMISSIONS & COMMITTEES TO
1983 INCLUDING LOCAL 208 PLANNING ADVISORY
COMMITTEE; THE AVIATION COMMITTEE; THE SANTA
ANA HEIGHTS AD HOC COMMITTEE; AND THE JOINT
• CITY COUNCIL /PLANNING COMMISSION AD HOC
HOUSING TASK FORCE
WHEREAS, on October 27, 1980, the City Council of the
City of Newport Beach adopted Resolution No. 9903 establishing
the Local 208 Planning Advisory Group Committee which provided
for termination on November 1, 1982; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Newport Beach
is desirous of extending the term of said committee to October,
1983; and
WHEREAS, on September 27, 1982, the City Council of the
City of Newport Beach adopted Resolution No. 82 -133 changing the
name of the Orange County Airport Aviation Committee to The
Aviation Committee; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Newport Beach
is desirous of further extending the term of said committee to
December 31, 1983; and
WHEREAS, on May 24, 1982, the City Council of the City
of Newport Beach adopted Resolution No. 82 -66 creating the Santa
Ana Heights Ad Hoc Committee which provided for termination of
said committee on December 31, 1982; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Newport Beach
is desirous of further extending the term of said committee to
December 31, 1983; and
WHEREAS, on July 12, 1982, the City Council of the City
Of Newport Beach adopted Resolution No. 82 -103 establishing the
Joint City Council /Planning Commission Ad Hoc Housing Task Force
• which provided for review of said committee in October, 1982; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Newport Beach
is desirous of extending said committee for further review to
October, 1983;

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Newport Beach that the following modifications
concerning the Boards, Commissions and Committees shall be
extended as follows:
Local 208 Planning Advisory Committee
The Aviation Committee
The Santa Ana Heights Ad Hoc Committee
The Joint City Council /Planning Commission
Ad Hoc Housing Task Force
