A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF NEWPORT BEACH DESIGNATING CERTAIN CITY
EMPLOYEES AS THOSE AUTHORIZED TO NOTIFY THE
COUNTY OF ORANGE OF CORRECTIONS TO THE TAX
ROLL FOR SPECIAL ASSESSMENTS.
• WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Newport Beach
has previously authorized the addition of certain special
assessments, and requested the Auditor- Controller of the County
of Orange, hereinafter referred to as Auditor, to add same to the
tax roll; and
WHEREAS, it is periodically necessary to request the
Auditor - Controller to make certain corrections and /or
cancellations of same; and
WHEREAS, the Auditior - Controller has determined that,
henceforth, no correction or cancellation of special assessments
may be made to the tax roll without the authorization of the City
Council or its designee, or designees;
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED AND ORDERED that
the designees of the City Council of the City of Newport Beach
for the correction and /or cancellation of special assessments are
as follows:
Weed Abatement
Street Lighting
Refuse Disposal
Landscape Maintenance
City Fire Chief
City Engineer
General Services Director
Parks, Beaches and
Recreation Director
ADOPTED this 10th day of January , 1983.
