A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF NEWPORT BEACH AMENDING FISCAL YEAR 1982 -83
CLASSIFICATION AND COMPENSATION PLAN BY
ESTABLISHING POSITIONS FOR A MARINA PARK
MANAGER AND A LICENSE CLERK THERETO
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Newport Beach
adopted Resolution No. 82 -159 which provided for the adoption of
the 1982 -83 fiscal year Classification and Compensation plan; and
WHEREAS, the City has determined that the establishment
of a new position for a Marina Park Manager who would be
responsible for the City's mobile home Park located at 1770 W.
Balboa Blvd., Newport Beach, California be adopted ; and
WHEREAS, the Personnel Department has determined that a
Typist Clerk II position assigned to the Finance Department
should be reclassified to a License Clerk; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Newport Beach
now desires to amend the Classification and Compensation Plan for
permanent employee classes as follows:
Budgeted Salary Approximate
Classification Position Range Monthly Salary
Marina Park Manager 1 39.009 - 43.009 $ 952.00
License Clerk 1 46.036 - 50.036 $1,376.00
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of
the City of Newport Beach hereby approves an amendment to the
Classification and Compensation Plan of permanent employees as
outlined above.
ADOPTED this 10th day of January , 1983.
