Costs related to the Community Room
Direct Costs: Administration and event staffing, supplies,
equipment purchase and replacement, and janitorial.
Indirect Costs: CM, HR, RSS Admin. Costs & Building
Depreciation.
Cost Recovery
Mandate in Municipal Code 3.36
Municipal Code Section 3.36 provides that the cost
recovery for the facility rentals shall be 50 %. In our
most recent study, our cost recovery for all facility
rentals was 48 %.
Public Use of Facilities
Council Policy 6 -13
Fees may be charged for the use of City facilities and shall be established and
periodically adjusted and approved by the City Council.
Fees are imposed to cover:
Overhead
Processing
Deposits
Maintenance and replacement costs for application, scheduling, and
maintenance of facilities.
