HomeMy WebLinkAbout2006-96 - Stop Control at Newport Hills & Port SeabourneRESOLUTION NO. 2006. 96 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NEWPORT BEACH TO POST ALL -WAY STOP CONTROL AT THE NEWPORT HILLS DRIVE EAST/PORT SEABOURNE WAY INTERSECTION WHEREAS, Section 12.36.010 of the Newport Beach Municipal Code provides that whenever any ordinance or resolution of this City designates and describes any intersection at which vehicles are required to stop at one or more entrances thereto, the City Traffic Engineer shall erect and maintain STOP signs at those entrances of each intersection where a stop is required; and WHEREAS, it has been determined that there is a need for all -way STOP control at the intersection of Newport Hills Drive East at Port Seabourne Way. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Newport Beach, that the following described location is hereby designated as an intersection at which all vehicles are required to stop: Newport Hills Drive East at Port Seabourne Way BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Traffic Engineer is hereby directed to erect and maintain all necessary signs at the above locations.
