A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
• OF NEWPORT BEACH HONORING ROBERT HASKELL FOR
HIS YEARS OF SERVICE AS EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR OF
THE ORANGE COUNTY CHAPTER OF THE LEAGUE OF
CALIFORNIA CITIES

WHEREAS, ROBERT HASKELL is completing five and one half
years of a distinguished career as Executive Director of the
Orange County Division of the League of California Cities; and
WHEREAS, ROBERT HASKELL has worked energetically to
strengthen and promote effective local government through his
services; and
WHEREAS, ROBERT HASKELL has given generously of his
time to support worthy community efforts, and has provided
effective leadership to good local government;
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Newport
Beach hereby RESOLVES, DETERMINES AND DECLARES THAT ROBERT
HASKELL be awarded the highest commendation from its citizens for
his dedicated years of service to the people of the State of
California, County of Orange and, in particular, the City of
Newport Beach.
ADOPTED this 23rd day of January 1984.
