• A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF NEWPORT BEACH ORDERING THE VACATION OF TWO
5 FT. SEWER EASEMENTS LOCATED NORTHERLY OF
CLAY ST AT SNUG HARBOR & PIRATE ROADS AND
DIRECTING THE CITY CLERK TO RECORD SAID
RESOLUTION WITH THE ORANGE COUNTY RECORDER
WHEREAS, the Public Works Director of the City of
Newport Beach has presented to the City Council of the City of
Newport Beach certain maps describing and depicting two sewer
easements, located northerly of Clay St. at Snug Harbor and
Pirate Roads, which easements are proposed to be vacated and
abandoned. Copies of each map are attached hereto as Exhibits
"A" and "B" respectively, and more particularly described as
follows:
Easterly five feet of Lot 33, Tract 1220, as
shown on a map filed in Book 38, Page 50 of
Miscellaneous Maps, Records of Orange
County; and the southerly five feet of Lot
144, Tract 1218, as shown on a map filed in
Book 37, Page 47, 48 and 49 of said
Miscellaneous Maps.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Newport Beach
has approved and adopted said maps and directed the City Clerk to
file same in the proceedings for the vacation and abandonment of
the above sewer easements; and
WHEREAS, on January 9, 1984 the City Council
held a public hearing for the purpose of hearing all persons
interested in or objecting to the proposed vacation and
abandonment of said sewer easements; and
• WHEREAS, the City Council finds and determines, from
all of the evidence submitted, that the sewer easements described
herein are unnecessary for present or prospective public use.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Newport Beach that the sewer easements described
• above, and located northerly of Clay St.: at Snug Harbor and
Pirate Roads, be and hereby are ordered vacated and abandoned.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk is hereby
ordered to cause a certified copy of such Order, attested by the
Clerk under the seal of the City of Newport Beach, to be recorded
in the Office of the County Recorder of the County of Orange.
ADOPTED this 13th day of February, 1984.

and Pages 409 through 411, 415 and 416 of Official Records,
Records of Orange County, California, more particularly de-
scribed as follows:
The easterly 5.00 feet of Lot 33, Tract No. 1220,
as shown on a map filed in Book 38, Page 50 of
Miscellaneous Maps, Records of said County;
and the southwesterly 5.00 feet of Lot 144,
Tract No. 1218 as shown on a map filed in Book 37,
Pages 47, 48 and 49 of said Miscellaneous Maps.
