A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
NEWPORT BEACH ORDERING THE VACATION AND ABANDONMENT
OF WINDSOR, HILLSBOROUGH AND BELMONT STS., LOCATED
WITHIN TRACT 10151; DIRECTING THE CITY CLERK TO
RECORD SAID RESOLUTION WITH THE ORANGE COUNTY
RECORDER
WHEREAS, the Public Works Director of the City of
Newport Beach has presented to the City Council of the City of
Newport Beach that certain map, a copy of which is attached
hereto as Exhibits "A" and incorporated herein by reference,
which depicts the portions of Windsor, Hillsborough and Belmont
Street rights -of -ways located within Tract No. 10151, proposed to
be vacated for the purpose of conversion to private streets,
reserving therefrom an easement for public emergency and security
ingress and egress and public utility purposes over said streets
to be vacated; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Newport Beach
has approved and adopted said map and directed the City Clerk to
file same in proceedings for the vacation of Windsor,
Hillsborough and Belmont Street rights -of -way; and
WHEREAS, on May 14, 1984, the City Council held a
public hearing for purposes of hearing all persons interested in
or objecting to said proposed vacation; and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds and determines, from
all of the evidence submitted, that the portion of rights -of -way
described herein are unnecessary for present or prospective
public use.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
. the City of Newport Beach that the portion of Windsor,
Hillsborough and Belmont Streets, located in Tract 10151 and
depicted on City's map No. R/W- 5469 -L, a copy of which is
attached hereto as Exhibit "A ", be and hereby are ordered vacated
and abandoned. Said rights -of way are more particularly
described as follows:
Those certain street rights -of -way shown as
Windsor, Hillsborough and Belmont on a map of
Tract No. 10151 recorded in Book 464, Pages 24
through 27 of Miscellaneous Maps, Records of
Orange County, California.
Reserving therefrom, a blanket public
utilities easement to construct, operate and
maintain public utilities lying within said
streets.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk be and here-
by is ordered to cause a certified copy of such Order, attested
by the Clerk under the seal of the City of Newport Beach, to be
recorded in the Office of the County Recorder of the County of
Orange.
