A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NEWPORT
BEACH AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE AN
AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF NEWPORT BEACH AND THE
COUNTY OF ORANGE IN CONNECTION WITH FIRE PROTECTION
SERVICES IN THE NORTHERN PART OF THE CITY
WHEREAS, there has been presented to the City Council
of the City of Newport Beach a certain agreement for fire
protection services in the northern part of the City between the
County of Orange and the City of Newport Beach; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed the terms and
provisions contained in said agreement with the County of Orange
and finds that it would be in the best interests of the City to
execute said agreement for fire protection services.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Newport Beach that the agreement between the County
of Orange and the City of Newport Beach above described be and
hereby is approved.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Clerk
are hereby authorized and directed to execute said Agreement on
behalf of the City of Newport Beach .
ADOPTED this 29th day of May , 1984.
