• A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF NEWPORT BEACH AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 9782
PERTAINING TO BUSINESS LICENSE FEES PURSUANT
TO TITLE 5 OF THE NEWPORT BEACH MUNICIPAL CODE
WHEREAS, on May 27, 1980, the City Council adopted
Resolution No. 9782 providing, among other things, for the
establishment of fees relating to business licenses and
regulations in connection with Title 5 of the Newport Beach
Municipal Code; and
WHEREAS, staff has determined that it is necessary to
adjust certain fees as hereinafter described; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has considered the fees
recommended by the City Manager and finds them to. be fair,
suitable and reasonable.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Newport Beach that the following schedule of fees for
application, investigation and other related costs in connection
with Title 5 of the Newport Beach Municipal Code is adjusted in
the following areas:
Section 5.48.040
Telephonic Alarm Permit Application $40.00
Section 5.50.040
Application to Permit an Individual
to Perform Massage Services $60.00
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that all other provisions
contained in Resoltuion No. 9782 remain intact.
