A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF NEWPORT BEACH ADOPTING THE BURET FOR
FISCAL YEAR 1985 - 186

WHEREAS, the City Manager of the City of Newport Beach
has prepared and submitted to the City Council a preliminary
annual budget for the 1985 - 186 fiscal year; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed said preliminary
budget, determined the time for holding of a public hearing and
caused notice of said hearing published, not less than ten days
prior thereto, in the City's official newspaper. Copies of the
proposed budget were made available for inspection by the public
in the office of the City Clerk, at least ten days prior to said
hearing; and
WHEREAS, the City Council held a public hearing on the
preliminary budget on June 10, 1985 and made all revisions deemed
advisable; and
WHEREAS, all City Charter requirements relating to
preparation and consideration of the annual budget have been
complied with.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Newport Beach that the budget for the City of Newport
Beach for the 1985 - 186 fiscal year, as revised by the City
Council, be and hereby is adopted.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, the total approved
appropriation of $67,850,670 has been allocated to the following
funds in the following amounts:

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a copy of the approved
1985 - 186 budget, certified by the City Clerk, shall be filed
with the persons retained by the City to perform auditing
functions for the City. A further copy shall be placed and
remain on file in the office of the City Clerk where it shall be
available for public inspection; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the 1985 - 186 budget so
certified shall be reproduced and copies made available for the
use of the public and other City departments, offices and
agencies.
