STANDARD SPECIAL PROVISIONS AND STANDARD DRAWINGS FOR PUBLIC
WORKS CONSTRUCTION, 1985 EDITION
WHEREAS, the Public Works Department of the City of Newport Beach has
presented to the City Council certain publications which are desired by the
Public Works Department to be used in the design and construction of public
works improvements within the City of Newport Beach and for projects requiring a
Harbor Permit; and
WHEREAS, said publications are the Standard Specifications for Public
Works Construction, 1985 Edition, Work Area traffic Control Handbook, 1985
Edition; City of Newport Beach Design Criteria for Public Works Construction
1985 Edition; and City of Newport Beach Standard Special Provisions and Standard
Drawings for Public Works Construction, 1985 Edition; and
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to approve said publications as the
minimum standards to be followed for the design and construction of public works
improvements within the City of Newport Beach and for projects requiring a Harbor
Permit; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of
Newport Beach hereby adopts said publications as the minimum standards to be followed
for the design and construction of public works improvements within the City of
Newport Beach and for projects requiring a Harbor Permit.
ADOPTED this 24th day of June, 1985.
