RESOLUTION NO. 87 -75
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
NEWPORT BEACH AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR'S EXECUTION
OF THE AGREEMENT FOR CONSOLIDATED FIRE
EMERGENCY COMMUNICATIONS, TRAINING, REPORTING
AND INFORMATION SYSTEMS.
WHEREAS, the City of Newport Beach desires to enter into
a Joint Powers Agreement with the Cities of Huntington Beach,
Westminster, Fountain Valley and the! County of Orange; and
WHEREAS, the Joint Powers Agreement will provide
consolidated fire emergency communications, training and records
management for the Newport Beach Fire Department; and
WHEREAS, the funding of this program has been approved in
the 1987 -88 budget.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City Newport Beach as follows:
The Mayor of the City of Newport Beach is hereby
authorized to execute the attached Agreement for Consolidated
Fire Emergency Communications, Training, Reporting and
Information Systems.
