RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF NEWPORT BEACH RESCINDING
RESOLUTION No. 86 -79 APPROVING THE
PARTICIPATION OF THE CITY OF IRVINE
IN THE INTER - COUNTY AIRPORT AUTHORITY.
0 WHEREAS, the City of Newport Beach has entered a
joint powers agreement with the Cities of Anaheim, Garden
Grove, Santa Ana, and Stanton forming the Inter- County Airport
Authority; and
WHEREAS, the City of Irvine requested to participate
and the Inter- County Airport Authority approved this request;
and
WHEREAS, the City of Newport Beach approved the
participation of the City of Irvine by Resolution No. 86 -79;
and
WHEREAS, the City of Irvine by action of its City
Council declined the invitation to participate;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City
Council of the City of Newport Beach hereby rescinds Resolu-
tion No. 86 -79 dated September 8, 1986.
