A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF NEWPORT BEACH LIMITING THE PARKING OF
VEHICLES ON DAHLIA AVENUE.
WHEREAS, Section 12.44.010 of the Newport Beach
Municipal Code provides that when authorized signs are in place
giving notice thereof, no person shall stop, stand, or park any
vehicle between the hours of 8:00 A.M. and 6:00 P.M. of any day
for a period of time longer than one (1) hour upon such streets
or portions thereof as the City Council shall designate by
Resolution; and
WHEREAS, it is necessary to limit the parking of
vehicles as hereinafter provided;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the parking of
vehicles between the hours of 8:00 A.M. and 6:00 P.M., daily, be
limited to one (1) hour in the following location:
Dahlia Avenue, easterly side Coast Highway to Fifth
Avenue
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Traffic Engineer
is authorized and directed to appropriately sign and mark said
area to indicate such parking limitation.
