ABANDONDiG PROCEEDINGS FOR THE CONSTRUCTION
OF C29UAIEN IMPROVEMENTS IN" ASSESSMENT DISTRICT
PURSUANT TO THE
On this 26th day of October, 1987, on motion made, duly
seconded and carried, the following Resolution is adopted by the
Newport Beach City Council acting in their official capacity as the
legislative body of the City of Newport Beach.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Newport Beach,
California, did, by the adoption of its Resolution of Intention No.
87 -52, declare its intention to order the construction of certain
work and improvements to be done and made pursuant to the terms and
provisions of the °1913 Act" being Division 12 of the Streets and
Highways Code of the State of California, in a special assessment
district known and designated as
DISTRICT NO. 87 -1
(hereinafter referred to as the "Assessment District "); and,
WHEREAS, at this time this legislative body does not
desire to proceed with the project or the improvements, and desires
to abandon the proceedings.
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED as follows:
SECTION 1. That the above recitals are all true and
correct.
SECTION 2. That proceedings; had and taken under and
pursuant to the 111913 Act," being Division 12 of the Street
and Highways Code of the State of California, for the work
and improvements proposed by said Resolution of Intention
in the Assessment District be, and the same are hereby
ordered to be abandoned.
SECTION 3. The City Clerk shall immediately record a
certified copy of this Resolution of Abandonment with the
County Recorder. The certificate attached to said Resolu-
tion shall include a reference to the date of the adoption
of this Resolution, the date of the original Resolution of
Intention, and the date the map of the Assessment District
was previously filed with said County Recorder.

follows:
That during all of the times herein mentioned, the undersigned was,
and now is, the duly appointed, qualified and acting Clerk of the
Newport Beach City Council, CALIFORNIA (hereinafter referred to as
"Agency ") .
That the attached Resolution of Agency abandoning proceedings for
the construction of certain improvements in ASSESSMENT DISTRICT NO.
87 -1 was duly adopted on the _ day of October, 1987.
Reference is hereby made to Resolution of Intention No. 87 -52
adopted on the 27th day of May, 1987, for a further and complete
description of the works of improvement within said Assessment
District.
That a map of the proposed boundaries of the Assessment District
for these proceedings was filed in the Office of the County
Recorder of the COUNTY OF ORANGE on the day of ,
