A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF NEWPORT BEACH AMENDING RESOLUTION NOS. 87-
13, 87 -19, 87 -39, 87 -35, 9597, 82 -133, 10098,
AND 86 -92 BY RESPECTIVELY SUNSETTING AND
EXTENDING TERMINATION DATES FOR VARIOUS CITY
COMMITTEES.
WHEREAS, pursuant to Council Policy, at its meeting of
November 9, 1987, the City Council reviewed the various Boards,
Commissions and Committees for the City to determine appropriate
changes; and
WHEREAS, as a result of such review, the City Council
has determined that the Resolutions establishing the various
Boards, Commissions and Committees require amendments to provide
for new termination dates.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT the following
Resolutions establishing certain committees are amended as
follows:
1. Resolution No. 87 -13 establishing the Ad Hoc
Committee to Re- Evaluate Newport Center is amended to terminate
the committee effective on the date of this Resolution;
2. Resolution No. 87 -19 establishing the Ad Hoc
Councilmanic Redistricting Committee is amended to terminate the
committee effective on the date of this Resolution;
3. Resolution No. 87 -39 establishing the Ad Hoc Cannery
Village /McFadden Square Specific Area Plan Public Improvement
• Committee is amended to terminate the committee effective on the
date of this Resolution; and

4. Resolution No. 87 -35 establishing the Newport
Channel Bridge Commmtittee is amended to terminate the committee
effective on the date of this Resolution.
WHEREAS, the Resolution Nos. 9597, 82 -133, 10098 and 86-
92 and pertaining to the Council /Citizens Aviation Committee are
hereby amended to extend the terminate date to December 31, 1988.
ADOPTED this 9th day of November. 1987.
