A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NEWPORT BEACH
ACCEPTING THE IRVINE COMPANY'S EASEMENT AREA TO WIDEN COAST
is HIGHWAY INTO THE CITY'S MASTER PLAN OF STREETS AND HIGHWAYS
WHEREAS, the City of Newport Beach desires to widen and make street
improvements to Coast Highway from Jamboree Road to Bayside Drive; and
WHEREAS, The Irvine Company has dedicated by Grant of Easement right of
way necessary to widen Coast Highway; and
WHEREAS, Coast Highway is classified as a six -lane major roadway on the
Ciyt's Master Plan of Streets and Highways;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of
Newport Beach hereby accepts into the City's Master Plan of Streets and Highways
the right of way dedicated to widen Coast Highway.
