HomeMy WebLinkAbout89-56 - Zoning Action Filing-Appeals-& Other FeesRESOLUTION NO. 89 -56" A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NEWPORT BEACH MODIFYING FILING, APPEALS AND OTHER FEES RELATING TO ZONING ACTIONS IN CONNECTION WITH TITLE 20 OF THE NEWPORT BEACH MUNICIPAL CODE, TO BECOME EFFECTIVE JULY 1, 1989 AND RESCINDING • RESOLUTION NO. 88 -46. WHEREAS, Title 20 of the Newport Beach Municipal Code provides for establishing of filing, appeals and other fees relating to zoning actions by resolution of the City Council; and WHEREAS, the City Council has considered the recommended fees and finds them to be fair, equitable and reasonable. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Newport Beach that the following Schedule of Fees for filing, appeals and other fees relating to zoning actions in connection with Title 20 of the Newport Beach Municipal Code: Section 20.01.070E Specific Area Plan Areas - Site Plan Review Fee Section 20.30.035D(5) Off -Site Parking Agreement Section 20.30.040C(5) Off -Site Parking Agreement Section 20.50.030A Planned Residential Development - Use Permit Section 20.50.030A Use Permit Amendment Section 20.51.035 Planned Community Application Section 20.51.035 Planned Community Development - Amendment to the Development Plan or Use Permit Section 20.80.030 • Application for Use Permit Section 20.80.070A Appeal of Use Permit Section 20.81.050C Application for Modification a $824.00 $757.00 $757.00 $5,040.00 $1,820.00 $5,040.00 $1,820.00 $ 877.00 $ 331.00 $ 255.00 • Section 20.81.070B Appeal of Modification to Planning Commission $ 622.00 Section 20.81.070E(1) Appeal of Modification to City Council $ 331.00 Section 20.82.020A Variance $ 877.00 Section 20.82.060A Appeal of Variance to City Council $ 331.00 Section 20.84.020 Amendment to Zoning $1,820.00 Section 20.84.050 Appeal of Zoning Amendment $ 331.00 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the aforementioned Schedule of Fees shall become effective as of July 1, 1989. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Council may, at its discretion, waive all or a portion of the Planning Department development fees set forth in this resolution for projects with low and moderate income housing.
