A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
NEWPORT BEACH ESTABLISHING THE SALARIES OF
TEMPORARY AND SEASONAL CLASSES FOR THE 1989 -90
FISCAL YEAR, AMENDING THE CLASSIFICATION
COMPENSATION PLAN TO REFLECT THESE CHANGES AND
RESCINDING RESOLUTION NO. 88-64.
0 WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Newport Beach has
adopted a Compensation Plan establishing salaries for temporary and
seasonal classes;
WHEREAS, the City Council has considered salary adjustments
for temporary and seasonal employees; and
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to amend the Classification
and Compensation Plan to reflect the changes in salaries for tempoary
and seasonal classes.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Newport Beach that the Classification and Compensation Plan be
and hereby is changed to reflect the adjustment in salaries for
temporary and seasonal classes, effective July 1, 1989, as set forth in
Exhibit "A ", attached hereto and incorporated herein by this reference;
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that said compensation shall be
payable in monthly, semi - monthly, or bi•- weekly installments, as is most
convenient in the ordinary course of the preparation of the City's
payment of obligations; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that Resolution No. 88 -64 shall be
rescinded at such time as the salaries reflected in this Resolution
become effective.
