A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF NEWPORT BEACH ESTABLISHING A FEE RELATED
TO APPEALING THE DECISION OF THE PLANNING
COMMISSION TO THE CITY COUNCIL IN
CONJUNCTION WITH A SITE PLAN REVIEW.
WHEREAS, Title 20 of the Newport Beach Municipal Code provides for
• establishing of filing, appeals and other fees relating to zoning actions by resolution of the

City Council; and
WHEREAS, no fee has been established in conjunction with appealing the
decision of the Planning Commission to the City Council in conjunction with a Site Plan
Review; and
WHEREAS, an appeal fee of $347.00 has been established for use permit,
variance, modification, resubdivision, and coastal residential development permit
applications; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has considered the recommended fee and finds
it to be fair, equitable, reasonable, and consistent with other zoning actions in conjunction
with Title 20 of the Newport Beach Municipal Code;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of
Newport Beach that the following fee shall be paid:

Appeal Fee
$347.00
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the aforementioned fee shall become
effective on the effective date of Ordinance No. 91 -8 (Planning Commission Amendment
No. 722).
