A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF NEWPORT BEACH ESTABLISHING A NO
PARKING -TOW AWAY ZONE AT 608 EAST BALBOA
ON THE NORTH SIDE OF BALBOA BOULEVARD
FROM A POINT 60 FEET WEST OF WASHINGTON
• STREET TO A POINT 103 FEET WEST OF
WASHINGTON STREET ON SATURDAYS AND
SUNDAYS, BETWEEN SEPTEMBER 16 AND MAY 31
OF EVERY YEAR.

WHEREAS, Section 12.40.190 of the Newport Beach
Municipal Code provides that vehicles can be removed from
areas established by the City Council as NO PARKING areas;
and
WHEREAS, it is necessary to prohibit parking as
hereinafter provided in order to facilitate safe and
efficient traffic flow during weekends.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of Newport Beach that the north side of Balboa
Boulevard from a point 60 feet west of Washington Street to a
point 103 feet west of Washington Street, between September
16 and May 31 of every year on Saturdays and Sundays, is
hereby designated a NO PARKING -TOW AWAY zone; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Traffic Engineer
shall erect the necessary signs to indicate said area as a NO
PARKING -TOW AWAY zone.
ADOPTED this 26th day of August, 1991.
