A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NEWPORT BEACH
AMENDING THE NEWPORT PLACE PLANNED COMMUNITY
DEVELOPMENT STANDARDS, SO AS TO REDESIGNATE 11,458
SQUARE FEET OF EXISTING DEVELOPMENT ENTITLEMENT FOR
AN ATHLETIC CLUB, TO BE USED FOR OFFICE USE ON
PROPERTY LOCATED IN PROFESSIONAL AND BUSINESS OFFICE
SITE NO. 5 OF SAID PLANNED COMMUNITY

WHEREAS, Section 20.51.045 of the Newport Beach Municipal Code provides
that final amendments to a Planned Community Development Plan must be approved by
a Resolution of the City Council, setting forth full particulars of the amendment; and
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has conducted a public hearing on
February 6, 1992, at which time this amendment to the Newport Place Planned Community
Development Standards was discussed; and
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission determined that the proposed changes
to the Newport Place Planned Community were appropriate and necessary; and
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission adopted a resolution recommending
to the City Council the approval of this amendment as set forth in the minutes of the
Planning Commission meeting of February 6, 1992; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Newport Beach has conducted a
public hearing on the proposed amendment in accordance with all provisions of the law;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE I' RESOLVED by the City Council of the City
of Newport Beach hereby approves the proposed amendment to the Newport Place Planned
Community Development Plan as set forth in the minutes of the Planning Commission
meeting of February 6, 1992.
