A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF NEWPORT BEACH AUTHORI2ING THE MAYOR AND
CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE DEEDS, EASEMENTS, AND
ACCEPTANCES.
• WHEREAS, the Newport Beach City Charter vests in the City
Council the authority to make and enforce all laws, rules and
regulations with respect to municipal affairs subject only to the
restrictions and limitations contained in the Charter and
Constitution; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has the authority to approve the
execution of documents conveying or accepting an interest in real
or personal property; and
WHEREAS, the City Council, by this Resolution, intends to
delegate to the Mayor and the City Manager, the authority to
execute documents conveying or accepting an interest in real or
personal property to facilitate the administration of City affairs.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City
of Newport Beach as follows:
Section 1. The Mayor of the City of Newport Beach is
hereby authorized to execute any document:
(a) accepting any interest in real or personal property;
(b) conveying an easement, or lesser interest, in real
property; or
(c) conveying an interest greater than an easement in real
property, or conveying any personal property, provided
• the conveyance is consistent with Council policy,
ordinance or resolution, or previous Council action.
Section 2. The City Manager of the City of Newport Beach
is hereby authorized to execute any document:

(a) accepting any interest in real or personal property;
(b) conveying an easement, or lesser interest, in real
property; or
(c) conveying an interest greater than an easement in real
property, or conveying any personal property, provided
• the conveyance is consistent with Council policy,
ordinance or resolution, or previous Council action.
Section 3. The Mayor is hereby authorized to execute any
document conveying any interest in real or personal property that
has been acquired by the City of Newport Beach pursuant to the
judgment in City of Newport Beach v. Dixon, Orange County Superior
Court Case No. 67- 89 -38, including, without limitation, the real
property located at 19121 Queensport, Unit C, Huntington Beach,
California 92646.
Section 4. The City Manager is hereby authorized to
execute any document conveying any interest in real or personal
property that has been acquired by the City of Newport Beach
pursuant to the judgment in City of Newport Beach v. Dixon, Orange
County Superior Court Case No. 67- 89 -38, including, without
limitation, the real property located at 19121 Queensport, Unit C,
Huntington Beach, California 92646.
