A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF NEWPORT BEACH ESTABLISHING THE NUMBER OF
ARTS COMMISSIONERS TO BE NINE (9).
•WHEREAS, Section 712
of
the City of Newport
Beach Charter was
amended by the electorate
in
November of 1992,
to allow the City
•
Council to establish by ordinance or resolution the number of
members on the Arts Commission.
WHEREAS, Section 712 of the Charter currently provides that
the Arts Commission now consists of seven (7) members. The current
commission has indicated a need for additional members on a very
active working commission.
NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved by the City Council of the City
of Newport Beach that the number of members on the Arts Commission
shall be nine (9).
ADOPTED, this 28th day of June , 1993.
