A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF NEWPORT BEACH
ESTABLISHING A TWO -HOUR PARKING TIME
• RESTRICTION ON MARINE AVENUE FROM
THE ALLEY IMMEDIATELY SOUTH OF NORTH
BAY FRONT, SOUTHERLY TO A POINT 60
FEET SOUTH OF PARK AVENUE, AND
RESCINDING RESOLUTION NO. 9058.

WHEREAS, Section 12.44.010 of the Newport Beach Municipal Code
provides that when authorized signs are in place giving notice thereof, no
person shall stop, stand or park any vehicle for a period of time longer than two
hours upon such streets or portions thereof as the City Council shall designate
by resolution; and
WHEREAS, it is necessary to limit the parking of vehicles hereinafter
provided;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Newport Beach that the parking of vehicles between the hours of 8:00 a.m.
and 10:00 p.m. be limited to two (2) hours every day on both sides of Marine
Avenue from the alley immediately south of North Bay Front, southerly to a
point 60 feet south of Park Avenue.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Traffic Engineer is authorized and
directed to cause signs to be posted on such street giving notice of such
parking restriction.
BE IF FURTHER RESOLVED that Resolution 9058 is hereby rescinded.
ADOPTED,this 9th dayof May 1994.
