RESOLUTION NO. 94 -74
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF NEWPORT BEACH ESTABLISHING THE
PARKING FEE AND HOURS OF OPERATION FOR
THE SUPERIOR AVENUE PARKING LOT AND
RESCINDING RESOLUTION NO. 92 -84.
WHEREAS, the City maintains and operates a parking
lot known as the Superior Avenue Parking Lot; and
WHEREAS, Section 12.12.050 of the Newport Beach
Municipal Code requires parking fees on City property to be
established by resolution.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of Newport Beach, as follows:
1. A fee of $5.00 shall be charged for
each day or any portion thereof for
the use of said lot.
2. The hours of operation for which
the payment of fees is required
shall be from 6:00 a.m. to 6:00
p.m., daily.
3. The City Manager is authorized to
waive any fees established herein
when a special event of a
charitable or civic nature is being
held and it is in the best
interests of the City and the
general public that fees not be
charged for the use of any such
parking in connection with said
special event.
ADOPTED this 8th day of August, 1994.
