A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NEWPORT
BEACH APPROVING STANDARD SPECIFICATIONS FOR PUBLIC WORKS
CONSTRUCTION, 1994 EDITION; CITY OF NEWPORT BEACH DESIGN
CRITERIA, STANDARD SPECIAL PROVISIONS AND STANDARD
DRAWINGS FOR PUBLIC WORKS CONSTRUCTION, 1994 EDITION; CITY
OF NEWPORT BEACH DESIGN CRITERIA AND STANDARD DRAWINGS
FOR HARBOR CONSTRUCTION. 1994 EDITION
• WHEREAS, the Public Works Department of the City of Newport Beach has
presented to the City Council certain publications which are desired by the Public
Works Department to be used in the design and construction of public works
improvements within the City of Newport Beach and for projects requiring a Harbor
Permit; and
WHEREAS, said publications are the Standard Specifications for Public Works
Construction, 1994 Edition; City of Newport Beach Design Criteria, Standard Special
Provisions and Standard Drawings for Public Works Construction, 1994 Edition; City
of Newport Beach Design Criteria and Standard Drawings for Harbor Construction,
1994; and
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to approve said publications as the
minimum standards to be followed for the design and construction of public works
improvements within the City of Newport Beach and for projects requiring a Harbor
Permit; and to approve future supplements to the 1994 Edition of the Standard
Specifications for Public Works Construction;
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Newport
Beach hereby adopts said publications as the minimum standards to be followed for
the design and construction of public works improvements within the City of
Newport Beach and for projects requiring a Harbor Permit.
