A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF NEWPORT BEACH ACCEPTING THE IRVINE
COMPANY'S PETITION TO ESTABLISH THE
CIRCULATION IMPROVEMENT AND OPEN SPACE
AGREEMENT FINANCING DISTRICT
• WHEREAS, The Irvine Company has submitted a petition
requesting the formation of a Circulation Improvement and Open
•
Space Agreement Financing District;
WHEREAS, The provisions of § 3.32.180(c) of the Newport Beach
Municipal Code authorize the initiation of proceedings to establish
a special improvement district when a petition requesting same has
been signed and submitted by the owners of property comprising a
specified proportion of the area of the proposed district as
specified in § 3.32.200(d) of the Newport Beach Municipal Code; and
WHEREAS, The petition filed by the Irvine Company satisfies
all the requirements of § 3.32.200 of the Newport Beach Municipal
Code.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the
City of Newport Beach hereby accepts, and deems filed, the petition
submitted by the Irvine Company requesting institution of
proceedings for the establishment of the special improvement
district consistent with the provisions of the Circulation
Improvement and Open Space Agreement.
