A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF NEWPORT BEACH AUTHORIZING THE
FOLLOWING TEMPORARY STREET CLOSURES
1) Heliotrope Avenue from P.C.H. to 2nd Street;
2) Marigold Avenue from P.C.H. to the first alley, and;
3) Poinsettia from P.C.H. to the first alley.
• WHEREAS, the California Vehicle Code authorizes the City to adopt
rules and regulations by ordinance or resolution regarding assemblages on
and temporary closures of City streets; and
WHEREAS, Chapter 10.08 of the Newport Beach Municipal Code
provides that the City Council may adopt a resolution permitting the closure
of a City street for the purpose of selling and displaying merchandise for the
conduct of special events, provided a permit is issued by the City Manager
pursuant to Chapter 5.10; and
WHEREAS, a Special Event Permit has been issued to the Corona del
Mar Chamber of Commerce to conduct it's annual Christmas Walk & Toys
For Tots Merchant's Open House on Sunday, December 3, 1995 from 11:00
A.M. to 4:00 P.M.
NOW, THEREFORE, The City Council of the City of Newport Beach
resolves as follows:
1. The Corona del Mar Chamber of Commerce shall be permitted to
conduct it's annual Christmas Walk & Toys For Tots Merchant's Open House
on Sunday, December 3, 1995 from 11:00 A.M. to 4:00 P.M.
ADOPTED, this 27th day of November, 1995.
