HomeMy WebLinkAbout2007-50 - Stop Control on Orange Street & Canal StreetRESOLUTION NO. 2007. 50 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NEWPORT BEACH TO POST STOP CONTROL FOR NORTHBOUND ORANGE STREET AT CANAL STREET WHEREAS, Section 12.36.010 of the Newport Beach Municipal Code provides that whenever any ordinance or resolution of this City designates and describes any intersection at which vehicles are required to stop at one or more entrances thereto, the City Traffic Engineer shall erect and maintain STOP signs at those entrances of each intersection where a stop is required; and WHEREAS, it has been determined that there is a need to stop northbound traffic on Orange Street at Canal Street. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Newport Beach, that the following described location is hereby designated as an intersection where northbound vehicles are required to stop: Orange Street at Canal Street BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Traffic Engineer is hereby directed to erect and maintain all necessary signs at the above locations.
