A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF NEWPORT BEACH
AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 2009 -67 REGARDING
THE MEMBERSHIP OF THE TASK FORCE ON
CYCLING SAFETY
WHEREAS, the City Council established the Task Force on Cycling Safety on
September 22, 2009, through the adoption of Resolution No. 2009 -67; and
WHEREAS, the membership of the Task Force on Cycling Safety includes two members of
the Newport Beach City Council and three members of the cycling community who reside in
Newport Beach (one citizen representative from Corona del Mar, one citizen representative from
Newport Coast, and one citizen representative from Balboa Peninsula or West Newport Beach;
and
WHEREAS, the City Council wishes to amend the membership of the Task Force on Cycling
Safety to also include an additional Council Member and three at -large members of the cycling
community who reside in Newport Beach.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Newport Beach
that the Council hereby expands the membership on the Task Force on Cycling Safety to also
include an additional Council Member and three at -large members of the cycling community
who reside in Newport Beach.
ADOPTED this 27th day of October, 2009.

being Resolution No. 2009 -74 was duly and regularly introduced before and adopted by the City
Council of said City at a regular meeting of said Council, duly and regularly held on the 27th day of
October, 2009, and that the same was so passed and adopted by the following vote, to wit:
Ayes: Henn, Rosansky, Curry, Gardner, Daigle, Mayor Selich
Noes: None
Absent: Webb
Abstain: None
