talked to Tim and we both agree cell service in our area is not great and would welcome a tower on
the golf course.

PlanCom, Inc. has submitted an application on behalf of Vedzon Wireless requesting a
telecommunication (telecom) facility permit to construct a 65- foot -tall monopole at the Newport Beach
Golf Course located within the Santa Ana Heights Specific Plan District. The monopole will house six
panel antennas, and will function as a replacement netting support post for the driving range along Mesa
Drive. The proposed telecom facility support equipment will be ground - mounted and enclosed behind a
new eight- foot -high slump stone wall. The application requires special review by the City Council
because the proposed monopole exceeds the maximum permitted height limit of 50 -feet.
Below you will find a link to the City Council information page where the agenda and staff report for
the next scheduled hearing will be posted. The agenda and report are typically posted to the website
on Friday between 4:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m.
