RESOLUTION NO. 2010 -68
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NEWPORT
BEACH CONFIRMING THE LEVYING OF ASSESSMENTS FOR THE
FISCAL YEAR OF JULY 1, 2010 TO JUNE 30, 2011 FOR THE CORONA
DEL MAR BUSINESS IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT.
WHEREAS, on June 8, 2010 the Corona del Mar Business
Improvement District annual report was filed and approved by the City Council;
and
WHEREAS, the activities proposed for the new fiscal year include
marketing, advertising, public relations, and public improvements and maintenance
to benefit Corona del Mar businesses.
WHEREAS, on June 8, 2010 the City Council adopted and
published a Resolution of Intention declaring the intention to levy assessments
for the Corona del Mar Business Improvement District for a fiscal year July 1,
2010 to June 30, 2011; and
WHEREAS, a public hearing regarding the renewal of the Corona
del Mar Business Improvement District was held on June 22, 2010 without a
protest of majority.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Newport Beach
hereby confirms the levy of assessments as described in the Resolution of
Intention dated June 8, 2010 for the Corona del Mar Business Improvement
District for the fiscal year July 1, 2010 to June 30, 2011.
This resolution shall take effect immediately upon adoption.
Passed and adopted by the City Council of the City of Newport Beach at a
regular meeting held on the 22nd day of June, 2010.

certify that the whole number of members of the City Council is seven; that the foregoing resolution,
being Resolution No. 2010 -68 was duly and regularly introduced before and adopted by the City
Council of said City at a regular meeting of said Council, duly and regularly held on the 22nd day of
June, 2010, and that the same was so passed and adopted by the following vote, to wit:
Ayes: Selich, Rosansky, Henn, Webb, Gardner, Daigle, Mayor Curry
Noes: None
Absent: None
Abstain: None
