1. CLARIFICATION OF ITEMS ON THE CONSENT CALENDAR. (4:00 P.M.)
2. PROPOSED AMENDMENTS TO SECTION 6.04.090 OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE
(GARBAGE AND REFUSE CONTAINER REQUIREMENTS). (4:15 P.M.)
Action: Review the proposed ordinance amending Section 6.04.090 of the NBMC and
forward to Council for first reading on January 11, 2000.
3. UPDATE OF GENERAL PLAN HOUSING ELEMENT. (4:45 P.M.)
Action: Discussion and direction to staff.
4. BALBOA VILLAGE PEDESTRIAN AND STREETSCAPE IMPROVE- (5:15 P.M.)
MENT PLAN.
Action: 1) Provide direction to staff on a design alternative to present for City
Council consideration at a regular meeting; and
2) Provide direction to staff on the phasing and funding plan.

considered to be within the subject matter jurisdiction of the
