SUBJECT: Big Belly Deli (Lon Bike, architect) 6310 West Coast Highway SUMMARY: A request to convert an existing 1,500 square foot retail building into a full - service, small -scale eating establishment (pizza/deli) with 24 seats, that includes a waiver of the off - street parking requirements, and to establish a new alcoholic beverage service outlet pursuant to Chapter 20.89 of the Municipal Code. REQUIRED Hold public hearing; ACTION: Approve, modify or deny: • Use Permit No. 3666 ITEM NO. 2. SUBJECT: Bristol Farms (Todd Stingley, applicant) 401 Newport Center Drive, Suite 100A SUMMARY: A request to upgrade the existing Alcoholic Beverage Outlet approval to allow for the sale of general alcoholic beverages for off -site consumption (Type 21 License). SUBJECT: Newport Dunes Resort (Newport Dunes Partnership, applicant) SUMMARY: A General Plan Amendment, Local Coastal Program Land Use Plan Amendment, Zoning Code Amendment, and Planned Community District Plan for the 100 -acre Newport Dunes property and a conceptual precise plan for a hotel and time -share complex with conference, meeting, and banquet facilities, restaurants, a health club and spa, retail and services areas, and swimming pools and landscaped garden areas. Item 2 regarding Bristol Farms located at 401 Newport Center Drive, Suite 100A (Use Permit No. 3670) was approved and is subject to appeal or call up by the City Council (all ayes). Item 3 regarding the Newport Dunes Resort project located at 101 North Bayside Drive and l II I Back Bay Drive (applications regarding the development) was discussed and continued to the Planning Commission meeting of March 23. 2000.
