SUBJECT: CONFIRM APPOINTMENT OF SUBCOMMITTEE TO REVIEW THE
CITY CLERK'S COMPENSATION PACKAGE
RECOMMENDATION
Confirm the Mayor's appointment of himself and Council Members O'Neil and
Ridgeway to a subcommittee to review the City Clerk's compensation package.
BACKGROUND
At the Closed Session meeting of March 14, 2000 the City Council conducted the annual
performance evaluation of the City Clerk. Based on the advice of the City Attorney it is
necessary for the Mayor to appoint a subcommittee of the Council to review the City
Clerk's compensation package. The committee will meet and make recommendations
for changes to the City Clerk's employment agreement for full Council consideration at
the meeting of April 25, 2000.
