SUBJECT: APPOINTMENT TO THE ENVIRONMENTAL QUALITY AFFAIRS
CITIZENS ADVISORY COMMITTEE
RECOMMENDATION
Confirm Council Member ONeil's appointment of Barry Allen as the District 6 at -large member
to the Environmental Quality Affairs Citizens Advisory Committee (EQAC) to replace Robert
Hawkins who was appointed as Chairman on May 23, 2000.

I have been active in local and city natters for at least the last 20 -ears.

my owm interest or because they nay a {fect some area or subject that I

I have some exnerience reviaw+in, rTn's and sinilar documents for clients
that the firn represents. T and the firm have refused to accent cases
that are adverse to the interests of the City and Trill continue to do so.
Because of the nature of ny nractice, I do deal with o;overnnental entities
and their attorneys all the tine A major client of the firm is the
County of Orange whom I regularly renresent in all t -nes of tort claims
against the County. I also currentiv renresent CNB in one case.
