On February 22, 2000, the City Council received and filed an agreement with IRWD
relative to water and sewer service in the Newport Coast. This agreement requires a
validation action to be filed. The validation action was not filed due to unforeseen delays
and the appropriate course of action is for the City Council to rescind the earlier approval
and re- approve the agreement at this meeting. Accordingly, staff is recommending the
City Council take that action.
