On August 9, 2000, the City Council adopted a resolution that asked the Board of
Supervisors to cooperate with the City in preparing the documents necessary to
approval of an extension of the term of the JWA Settlement Agreement Council
members asked Supervisor Wilson, our representative on the Board, to support
our proposal and to request Board approval at the November 21, 2000 meeting.
After considerable discussion, the Board voted to continue the matter to the
meeting of December 5, 2000. 1 will provide a more detailed report at the Council
meeting.
