Coast Highway SUMMARY: A Use Permit for the expansion of the Boy Scouts of America Sea Base facility. The existing Sea Base consists of 9,943 square feet of office space, classrooms, storage, and a duty house that is located on 1.18 acres fronting Newport Harbor. The project involves the demolition of the existing 1,785 square foot duty house and a 490 square foot storage area. The new construction includes a two -story building for an office /classroom sailing building (8,092 sq. ft), and a two -story rowing building (6,500 sq. ft.).
