SUBJECT: Summer Concerts in the Park- August 19 and September 9
The City of Newport Beach Arts Commission is pleased to announce the start of this
season's City Concerts in the Pork.
The first concert will be held at Mariners Park on Sunday, August 19, at 5pm and will
feature high - energy jump swing music from Zoot Suit Revue. On September 9, at 5pm,
Susie Hansen and her Latin Band will perform at Eastbluff Park.
The Mayor, Members of the City Council and the residents of Newport Beach are
invited to the concerts. This free community event is sponsored by the City Arts
Commission.
A brief PowerPoint presentation will be presented by the Chair of the City Arts
Commission. Recreation Manager, Kristen Carey is the project manager for these
events. The PowerPoint presentation was prepared by Tom McCoy, Library Web
Services Specialist.
