CURRENT BUSINESS
1. CLARIFICATION OF ITEMS ON THE CONSENT CALENDAR. (4:00 P.M.)
2. BANNER - TOWING AIRCRAFT. (4:15 P.M.)
Action: Direct staff to:
1) Work with Newport Beach residents and with other
cities to educate residents as to how to appropriately
determine, photograph, and report potential
violations of the FAA's regulations; and
2) Work with towing company operators and the FAA
to try to reach a voluntary agreement for noise
abatement procedures such as having the planes
make turns out over the water.
3. VECTOR CONTROL PRESENTATION BY DR. VIRGINIA BARRETT. (5:00 P.M.)
4. COUNCIL REVIEW OF STAFF PRIORITIES & TIME FRAME FOR
FY 2001 -02 PROJECTS. (5:15 P.M.)
Action: Review and comment on Council agreement/disagreement
with staff priorities and time frame for FY 2001 -02 projects.
PUBLIC COMMENTS (Public comments are invited on non - agenda items generally
considered to be within the subject matter jurisdiction of the
Council —Speakers must limit comments to 3- minutes).
