The term of the John Wayne Airport Settlement Agreement Extension
Committee (Committee) expires at the end of January 2002. The
Committee is comprised of Council Members Glover, O'Neil and Proctor.
The Committee is advisory only and its authority is limited to matters
related to the extension of the John Wayne Airport Settlement Agreement.
Staff anticipates that the City Council and the Board of Supervisors will, by
the end of February 2002, take action on the proposed extension of the
Settlement Agreement. Accordingly, staff is recommending that the term
of the Committee be extended to March 30, 2002.
Recommendation: That the City Council approve an extension of the
term of the John Wayne Airport Settlement Agreement Extension
Committee until March 30, 2002.
