Supplemental Report
Item 1, regarding 151 East Coast Highway, Riverboat Cafe (UP 3684), was determined to come back for review in
one year and is subject to appeal or call up by the City Council. (All Ayes)
Item 2, regarding initiation of amendments to the Land Use Element for the Newport Village and Shellmaker
Island sites, GPI 2002 -002, and GPI 2002 -003 was recommended for initiation and is automatically forwarded to
the City Council. (All Ayes)
Item 3, regarding 213 Coral Avenue, Van Cleve Residence (PA2002 -002) the Planning Commission affirmed the
Planning Director's interpretation of Section 20.62.040, and also determined that the Building Director's
determination pursuant to Section 20.62.040 E2 must be made before removal of the structural elements involved.
• These determinations are subject to appeal or call up by the City Council. (6 Ayes, 1 No)
